Measuring Legion Assaults

Measuring Legion Assaults

The Legion assault in Aszuna last night was far and away the best Keya has participated in. There were four waves with each wave having specific targets. Defeat obstacles and kill anything that gets in the way is successful strategy from Keya's perspective.

Unlike the assaults in High mountain, where kills meant nothing and won nothing except an end to the battle and a single prize, the Aszuna assaults delivered in gold, gear, and most especially in artifact power.

Keya also parked herself in Suramar and fought a number of battles. She wandered around the city, looking into store windows, and occasionally killing whatever came by. It was quite refreshing, according to Keya's tongue-n-cheek reporting.

Not even the elites could escape Keya. Sure, it takes a long time for her kill them, but die they do, every time.

After the Legion assaults petered out Keya changed venue to the Broken Shores looking to add a couple more world quests under her belt. But the Shores had nothing to offer. Another fail for this patch.

So instead she found a vendor managing nethershards. Buying gear from these vendors should be very familiar to Draenor players because they work exactly the same way. If you have 400 nethershards, you can buy a wrapped piece of gear. Inside is at a minimum an i850 piece, and sometimes it will have an upgrade. Keya kinda went crazy, buying five pieces of gear. That burned almost all her nethershards but she didn't care. Her overall gear score jumped from i832 to i837.

There wasn't anything else interesting going on at the Broken Shores and Keya didn't bother to hang around after getting her new gear.

PS - Maintenance is scheduled from 7-11am this morning. Content is so thin Blizzard is doing all it can to spread the content out by gating; ie, parceling out new content in small bites. It's a very thin gruel. They really should have just given us the whole thing up front. At least there would be sizable, repeatable content. It's 845am and the maintenance, scheduled to end at 1100am is over.
