An Idea Blizzard Should Consider

An Idea Blizzard Should Consider

Note: I plan to submit this to the forums.

Many dedicated players in World of Warcraft feel that Blizzard has abandoned a large element of their  players. For the first time in memory, players must complete a series of dungeons and raids in order to complete their Professions. Blizzard was designed for both group and solo play, and should never be FORCED to participate in order to complete solo elements of the game.

Consider this: What if Blizzard decided that every player was REQUIRED to complete EVERY Profession before they were allowed access to a dungeon or raid? Raiders would likely go ballistic.

Instead of just ranting about it, which gets us nowhere, I have a suggestion that I think would be fairly easy to implement.

I suggest that Blizzard eliminate the dungeon/raid requirements for Professions. In their place, players would be required to complete one or more World Quests. Many world quests already have individual requirements as well, and Blizz could incorporate as many as they think are necessary.

While a world quest is not a dungeon or raid, they do generally have the help of others to complete them. I believe that's a sound alternative.

Opinions?
