Invasion Onslaught

Invasion Onslaught

Wildshard knew he faced a long dry spell. He had his choice to hang up his gear for a few weeks . . . or, he could say the hell with that! For the first time Wild took part in an Invasion Onslaught. Wild has gone into those portals a few of times, but it was always devoid of anyone other than the elites hanging around hoping Wild might accidentally trip something that would get him killed. But nothing ever came of it.

This time there was a raid forming. And this time Wild got an invitation. What a rush it was to see that a tank was needed and Wild was that tank! Of course there were many others in the raid, and other tanks, too. For once Wild wished he could see the damage he was doing to the super elite target. He must have done okay. Wild never had to back out of the fight, and only twice did trouble find him. Wild thanked the unknown healer who twice got Wild out of trouble.
Wild never died and saw the fight to the finish.

Now, I have to say that the reward for that success was a little underwhelming. His "reward" is to go out and complete three Invasion Points. More grinding. No matter, Wild can take his break knowing he will be rested and ready when it is time to head back into the action.

PS -  The RV trip is underway. See ya in a month!

The Secret to Walking on Water

The Secret to Walking on Water
Two Days From Launch

Wildshard is a very versatile fellow. Obviously he can walk on solid ground, and can morph between a number of forms, from human, to fish, to bird. With the Underlight Angler, the form changes are instantaneous. Dive into the sea and Wild immediately morphs into a fish. Leap into the air and become a bird. That sort of thing.

What Wild is having trouble with is walking on water. With the Underlight Wild can literally walk on water. Well, sometimes. Wild hasn't quite mastered that elusive talent. What usually happens is that Wild propels through the water, leaping about randomly hoping he finds firm footing, but mostly sinking underwater. It's great entertainment to watch, but . . .

Eventually Wild will find that moment where he is successfully standing on top of the water. Oh, well, Wild is facing in the wrong direction. Hmmm. Wild can walk in that direction. Then he turns . . . Splash! Wild gets a dunking. Sigh. Unfortunately, it's no better with the raft, which tends to float or sink at whim. Wild swears there must be some secret method by which this can be done withought ingesting gallons of water.

Chaitee wanted to lament the status of the Auction House but watching Wild drown is a lot more entertaining. Actually, drowning is pretty close to the status of Chaitee's attempt to wring gold from sellers who have no idea how to properly play the AH.

Loose Ends  - Miscellanous items while wrapping up for the trip. Wild will get a vacation for as long as a month.

Aha!  Walking on water requires using the CTRL button to walk on the water without thrashing about. Now Wild knows.

Wildshard raised his overall gear score to i907. Wild also has only two more steps left to complete all artifacts on his Underlight Angler. But the AP required makes for a LOT of fishing.

Not sure when the next post will be, or where we will be. We are two days away from Launch!

Six Days 'Till Launch

Six Days 'Till Launch

Chaitee is in some ways happy that her work at the Auction House will be closed when the great RV Trip to the East coast and back begins on May 30th. We will be gone for a month. Chaitee has been straining to keep the gold coming, but things are not going well on that front. Too many players dumping too many goods at prices that only 'bots can afford. Chaitee fought hard to push frostweave bag prices to 325 gold each, only to see a dump of hundreds at 225g. Chaitee manueavered a major push for Satchels at 578g (a price already lowered) only to see two dozen satchels now selling at 500g.

These bidders and buyers have no finesse and no sense of proper etiquette. Sorry state of affairs. Chaitee will get a boon at the end, though. The mailbox is holding over 50 high priced items that will all be cashed in when the AH is closed down for the trip.

In the meantime, Wild will continue his fishing and occassional runs into Argus until we cast off our lines and head out on our adventure. We'll have our dog, Shela, our two best cats, Jason and Jonesie, and the two 6 month old little ones, Scout and BB.

Our next door neighbor has the really hard part - taking care of the pets still at home while we're gone.

Focus on Suramar

Focus on Suramar
(If Wild can tear himself away from Fishing)

Suramar was a strange, even frightful place when young Keya first sneaked past the guards and gawked at elites patrolling their streets. Even with a disguise, she did all she could to stay out of the way of the many denizens that live within the bubble of their city. Perhaps some of that awe rubbed off on Wild, for he has avoided the place . . .  up to now. Wild's map has few features filled in. It's mostly blank. Wild knows Meridil and the Crimson Thicket. Everything else is fly over country on the way to the fishing ponds adjacent to the endless Jandvik battles.

While preparing for that long task, Wild found time in Sylvan Falls for more fishing. The needed artifact power has jumped to over 6k, requiring ever greater numbers of fish. Wild is also acquiring shoes. Old pairs of shoes. They are a result of failed chances to acquire a real legendary pair of boots. Somewhere in Keya's memiores, there is a reference to the number of terrible fishing shoes she still has stacked away in a closet. Wild only has two such pairs of  shoes so far.

The Broken Isles and Argus provide a pitiful few challenges that barely get Wild's attention these days, although Wild did get an invasion success that helped toward getting more stuff toward another gear upgrade.

But that isn't Wild's focus. He has his Underlight Angler. Wild needs a new target, and that target is Suramar.

Wild went to Iron Grove Retreat to begin his "study" of Suramar. And it began with a fishing expedition. What? Just because it's Suramar doesn't mean Wild can't fish while he's at it.? :-P

Wild even made a discovery. The stream that flows through the retreat area has a lot of great fishing spots for runescale koi. An even bigger surprise is that the winding stream turns into a full scale river, connecting to Sylvan Falls in Highmountain!

Chaitee Closes Auction House

A customer over filled the AH with singles of silkweave cloth - literally hundreds and hundreds of them. The price was too cheap not to grab them, even though it took all day to process them. Well, the AH choked on the amount and eventually the Auction house crashed. Chaitee wasn't about to lose those sales, however. Careful timing and a PC restart helped get the rest of the goods into Chaitee's hands. Never let a buyer off the hook. Make that sale. That's Chaitee's motto.

Legendaries

Legendaries

Demon hunter Mahakeya has returned, at least for a time, curious at Wildshard's new life. Changing from Horde to Alliance and losing his affiliate with the Autumnn Tea Green Guild had to be rough as well. Keya spoke to Guild Leader Tiphaine about that. Tiphaine took a hard stance with Wild over the change, but things seem to have blown over. Wild and Tiphaine are at least on speaking terms and recently wished Wild success with his new guild, the Goblin Gearworks.

So far the affiliation with the new guild has been pleasant.

Keya and Wild have always been fierce competitors, and they now share a common bond with the Underlight Angler, which both Keya and Wild understand go beyond just fishing.

The Underlight Angler is a legendary item, cast in red. Wild now has one as well.

Keya says she has been cursed with legendaries.
She has her Underlight.
She has the Cinidaria, the Simbiote, an i970 belt.
She also has The Sentinel's Eternal Refuge, an  i970 pair of boots.

Only two such items can be equipped at the same time.

Keya has a fourth legendary, the Kirel Narak, another pair of i970 boots. Keya caught Wild checking the boots out, hanging from their boot laces. Keya admits she feels sorry the Kirel boots can't be used. Unable to let the boots go, Keya maintains a faint hope that some day those boots will be exchangeable and useful to someone.

Maybe Wild will get them one day. Ha. Fat chance, Wild murmurs.

But he still wishes.

The Underlight Angler is Operational - Almost

The Underlight Angler is Operational - Almost

Okay, Wild is starting to get his Underlight Angler together. Wild went out to Auzergale Bay in Suramar early in the morning. The battles still raged, as they always are, but Wild easily found a stretch of coastline for fishing. Wild had one thing in mind. Fish until he got a rare fish. And then toss the rare fish back into the water and see what happens.

Wild fished up a few barracudas in one of the pools. In another pool he caught a rare Axefish. Time for the ultimate test: Wild tossed the axefish back into the water. There was a Whoosh! of water dousing Wild, who was standing too close to the shoreline. Wild checked his wet pole and opened his artifact. Woo Hoo! Wild can see his artifact now and has 50 AP. Progress at last.

Well. It was still early morning and there was no one about. A string of pools looked very inviting. Wild caught a rare Seabottom Squid. Yes, the same fish that Wild went through hell for.

Right after catching the first Seabottom Squid, he caught another. Another 50 AP went into his artifact. And then came a string of Seabottom Squids, EIGHT in all! It's working!

When the rush of catches finally petered out, Wild had received 1200 artifact power for his Underlight.

Unfortunately, there is still yet another issue to figure out. Wild still can't figure out how to spend the AP and to activate traits. Wild's Forge is the same forge that Wild uses for his weapon and for his Underlight. But the forge won't acknowledge the Underlight. Wild tried various ways of interacting with the Pearl in Dalaran, too, but it doesn't recognize the Underlight, either. So Wild finally has 1200 AP to spend but no way to do so.

Here's a direct Quote: "You must visit the artifact forge in your class hall to purchase traits."
Wild tried it with the Claws of Ursoc (and the forge worked) and with the Underlight equipped (it didn't work), and with no weapon equipped at all. Got the warning, "You must have an artifact equipped."

Wild is starting to wonder if the issue has to do with Wild's Druid Campaign progress (or lack of progress). Wild looked into the idea of choosing a second artifact to pursue, but Wild was only offered the usual suspects. There was no selection that offered the Underlight Angler.

Underlight Angler Correction: In the excitement of Wild getting his Underlight working he forgot to correct the manner in which it works. Wild thought he had to go to the Forge in the Druid Grove. That's a No. Wild's Underlight Forge is the Orb over the Dalaran Fountain. Just wanted to make that correction.

Underlight Angler Bug #2: Wild felt it necessary to report a nasty bug on the Undercurrent ability. Undercurrent teleports you to the nearest fishing pool. That would be a huge help to locate pools to fish. The ability has been fraught with bugs. Even in Legion, the ability rarely works correctly and attempts to use it create problems, such as sinking the raft, losing fish, and never, ever actually finding a fishing pool. It was known as useless before Legion, and it seems it's only gotten worse. As the centerpiece of the Underlight Angler, the gods of WoW have really made a mess. The best course is to ignore that feature completely.

Oh Dear Me! I thought This was Over

Oh Dear Me! I thought This was Over

Wild now has his Underlight Angler. Wild had this idea that the Underlight Angler artifacts and traits would work the same way everyone else's works. They sort of do and sort of don't.

After some fumbling around, Wild figured out that he could summon the artifact via Shift-Right click. That will display the artifact. Wild recalls that when he got his first look at an artifact, one cell was already in place. Like a nice pat of encouragement. There was no such help with the Angler.

The Angler has artifacts and traits. It is blank, a flat zero. Wild's second revelation is that all that artifact power Wild has at his disposal is useless to the Angler. The Angler doesn't use it.

What does the Angler use? You might have guessed that it is powered by fish. Correct. But not just any fish. The Angler must have RARE fish. In order to gain AP for the Angler, the process is to catch a rare fish and then throw it into the fountain with the twirling ball overhead in Dalaran.

Wild had a moment of reflection. Is this even worth the effort? Yes, Wild decided with a deep growl of stubborness. Wild will get those fish. He isn't going to give up. After all this time Wild will work this until that fishing pole shines and does something actually worthwhile.

Keya was watching. And smiling. "Got to hand it to ya, Wild, you don't give up easily. I have a confession to make. I never finished my Angler. My fishing artifact is incomplete. I quit working on it the minute I realized it wouldn't help me kill things. Keep playing with your toy. I'm interested in how this turns out. If it ever does amount to anything."

Bigger Fish to Fry - See The Monster!

Bigger Fish to Fry - See The Monster!

Wildshard - Tu-dun! - FINALLY got his fish. The carcass of the "Seabottom Squid" will remain in Wild's bags for as long as he can stand the stench. Wild was in Azuregale Bay, Suramar, when the nasty shark leaped out of the water and attacked. Wild fought with his fishing pole, not wanting to waste time changing from pole to Claws of Ursoc. That extended the fight a bit but Wild still had plenty of time and determination. Just for fun Wild popped a Draenic Strength potion to speed things up and the fish died with Wild at 76% health. The result was never in doubt.

Wild hasn't thought much about what comes next. He has completed all three of the requirements: (1) Be Level 110, (2) Be Level 800 fishing, and (3) Complete "Bigger Fish to Fry." So now what?

Wildshard has decided to spill the beans and give everyone a quick summary of the 5 part scenario that followed: Wild earns the Luminous Pearl and shows it around the fountain in Dalaran. Nat Pagle shows up and there is a frenzy of fish, most of which Wild didn't understand, but didn't need to. Nat then takes Wild to murloc village and with Nats approval Wild kills every last one of those murlocs. Oh, but not all. The last murloc is a monster that came up from deep in the water. Wild kills it, too.

Wild then takes Nat's boat back to Dalaran and the fountain, and Marcia gives Wild his Underlight Angler!

And that is only the begining. Wild's Claws of Ursoc weapon is i915. Although the Underlight Angler is only i750, Wild intends to use the Underlight Angler as much as possible. The Angler has it's own artifact path to follow now.

Note from Slayer Mahakeya. "The underlight angler is a useful tool, but was never expected to be a main weapon. It's a play toy, Wild, base level with no enhancements."

Wild says "Poo!" at Keya.
Keya laughs. "Good luck with that."

Wild and His Underlight

Uh Oh, What Have I Done Now?

Uh Oh, What Have I Done Now?

One never knows what is going on in Wildshard's head, but he came up with a whopper this morning. After another fruitless couple of hours failing to catch the Seabottom Squid along the coast of Stormheim, Wild noticed another player tossing in her fishing line, most likely as bored as Wild.

They talked for a bit and then Wild was propositioned. Not THAT kind of proposition, Wild hurriedly stated, turning red.

A guild proposition. In a moment of complete craziness, Wild joined the Goblin Gearworks guild. Now, before anyone starts yelling, Wild did get some information about the guild. They do raid/dungeons but neither are required. They state that it is a family guild for adults, 21 years or older. It seems to be a mid-sized guild, a lot smaller than Wild's prior guild. Wild is going to see how things go.

Highmountain (3) - DONE

Suramar (3 of 3) - DONE

Coastal Legion Waters (2 of 3)
Axfish
Ancient Black Barracuda
Seabottom Squid (Still hunting)

Wild had hoped to have caught all 18 rare fish and proudly display the Achievement and his reward. Despite a long Sunday night of fishing, Wild earned only 17 of the 18 fish. The coastal fish, Seabottom Squid, continues to elude Wild even today. Wild was so frustrated he wrote a very long dessertation of the whys and excuses that the job is not yet done, accusing even his leaky raft at one point of particular frustration. Fishing is supposed to be relaxing, but Wild let the competition get to him just a little bit.

Wild is going back to work. He still stalks the fish, but he is determined not to slack off on his combat gear progress. Over the weekend Wildshard has pushed his overall gear score to i900! He wanted to do more, but in the entirety of Argus there was nothing worth grinding for, questing for, or killing for. That was on Sunday. Maybe things will look better today, but right now Argus is sadly lacking in interesting things to do.

Oh, about that long dessertation Wild mentioned? He scuttled it. Fishing is boring enough even while doing it. It is a thousand times more boring talking about it. Wild will make his announcement once that last fish is caught. Here is the information on this last fish Wild is hunting:

Seabottom Squid: This fish can be found in any coastal waters. They spawn randomly while fishing. It may take hours for one to show up. Why the fish is called a squid, or why the fish is actually a shark, remains a fishing mystery, but then that's fishing for you.

You know you got one when you see a stunned, angry shark spashing about in the shallows. Grab it immediately and the shark will climb right up out of the ocean and attempt to eat you. Not a good idea to let that happen. Instead, the now landlocked shark has to be killed. Immediatly. Within one minute. Failure means starting all over again. Time to go back to work.

'Nuff said.

PS - Chaitee poked her head into the conversation to note that as of this morning, the Guild has reached 1,000,103 gold. For those without enough fingers, that is just over one million gold. Just thought that might be a little more interesting than stupid fish. Just saying.

Bigger Fish to Fry

Bigger Fish to Fry

(1) Nar' Thalas Hermit
(2) Ancient Mossgill

Wild already has max level fishing of 800. Wild also took the time to grind arcane lures that increase the catch rate by 100. Don't be fooled, though. Thousands will have to be caught before this is done.
The "Old" Wildshard lost a number of things he once had before his reincarnation from Horde to Alliance or were negated when the change was granted. Most important to fishing is being able to cast lures into fishing pools. Wild was having to fish from the shoreline because he can't swim and fish at the same time (which can often be dangerous as well). Wild went all the way to Pandaria and the Krasarang Wilds to hunt down Nat Pagler, the greart fishing expert. Nat was delighted to see Wild in his shiny alliance garb.

"Want to go fishing with me?" Nat asked Wild.

"Another time, Nat. I have taken the challenge of the Underlight Angler, and I could use your help."

Nat winked. "I already knew what you're up to. I have ways."

"Another time, for sure," Wild responded.

"Well, then." Nat pondered. "The Angler, huh? I must tip my hat to you for even trying."

"Why not join me in the hunt then," Wild offered Nat again.

"Naw, I'm long retired. But maybe I could help out. Is there anything I can do to help you on this journey?"

"There is," Wild said immediately. "I can't walk on water anymore, dang all these crazy rules, but . . .

Nat jumped into the conversation. "How 'bout a raft! Got one just outfitted this morning!"

Nat was a tough negotiator. The raft cost 800 but will be well worth the gold. Wild even bought a hat and another fishing pole from Nat's collection. Alltogether a good beginning.

Wild will start in Aszuna. The rare fish he is after are leyshimmy blenny, nar'thalas hermit, and ghostly queenfish. Wild already had 40 arcane lures that should keep him busy for a good while.
Wild's first two hours in Aszuna garned a big flat ZERO. Not a single bite from a targeted fish. The gods of WoW are laughing at the insanely difficult odds. And no fishing pools appeared anywhere in that time.

Later the same day, till in Aszuna, Wild caught the Nar'thalas Hermit. And then he accidentally threw it back in the water. Too many things going on at the time, a cat in real life had my attention, the wrong button tapped, and it was gone. But all was saved by the Achievement "Bigger Fish to Fry" that clearly showed Wild's catch. And guess what? Wild had an earlier success, too, the Ancient Mosgill! Woo Hoo!

Two down and only 16 left. Wild is on his way.

So How's the Fishing?

So How's the Fishing?

Well, Wild hasn't gotten around to doing much fishing. In fact, another obstacle stands in his way. It appears that Wild can only carry one type of rare bait on his person at any given time. That doesn't sound like a problem. Well, Wildshard doesn't have a guild, so he has to carry everything he owns with him. That very nice 36 slot fishing bag has lots of different types of fish in it. No wonder Wild hasn't been fishing up any rare bait or fish. He'll just have to figure something out. Chaitee has been doing some clean up in the Bank and offered to hold on to Wild's fishing catch when Wild needs to store them. Chaitee found a dusty closet perfect for the task - ie, a closet that would keep the odor of fish away from the customers.

Wild has done a lot better killing things across the spectrum. He was awarded a second i910 piece of gear (leggings, this time, to go with his helmet) and has raised his gear score again from i889 to i893. Both upgrades came from gathering veiled argunite. As of this afternoon every rock of veiled argunite in Argus has been mined by Wild. Wild will have to wait for more to turn up.

On a special note, Wild is extra happy that Wild can shift into cat form and then disappear. Wild can scamper just about anywhere while stealthed and nobody bothers him unless he wants to be bothered. Crowds of mobs, eh, they hardly notice Wild. Elite demons? Their eyes are tiny, and they never notice him. Wild was cautious at first, but he quickly realized that he'd have to run into something before anyone would care.

Even invasion points are getting a little routine already, based on the four that Wild has participated in so far. The first couple of stages are pretty easy to manage even when short of players. The final stage is the tough one. Wild acquits himself well, but there is never enough healers and Wild has died in all of them. No matter, just revive and go back at it where you left off.

The Greater Invasion Points? Well, Wild attempted one and that was a nightmare. Wild never even got to the battle because the area is a minefield of elites and other goons. Going stealth won't work in invasions and are hard to manage even then because of the numbers of bad guys.

What Wild really wants to know is when will the gods of WoW grant him a legendary! Keya has two! Belt and shoes, both i970. Actually, Keya has three legendaries if she counts her Underlight Angler.

Up Against the Dungeon Wall

Up Against the Dungeon Wall

Wildshard hit the Druid Campaign wall quicker than Sista did, but that's because by then he knew it was there. Wild now has five dungeons lined up against him:

Darkheart Thicket, the two Eye of Aszhara's, Halls of Valor, and Altherion's Lair. Followed by The Cycle Continues (100 dream seeds planted.). There are a couple more in Argus he will likely run afoul of.

Sista has been at that wall for quite awhile, but she has little interest in pushing that envelope any further. The only member of the family that broke through is Mahakeya. And she only made it through with a lot of help from friends.

Neither Wild nor Sista have any desire or plans to break that Dungeon wall. Wild is after his fishing pole. Sista has it in mind to put all her efforts into Argus and the Antorous Waste ...  And of course, the contest of gear gathering is still central to them. The Great Question is: Can they reach i900 gear level without a dungeon run? The answer is yes, if the two farm up enough veiled argunite. It takes 650 to buy a level 900 piece of gear.

Wild successfully completed his first set of three invasion points. Wild had hoped for a gear upgrade, but all he got was more Artifact power. He would much prefer argunite, whether the pristine kind or the veiled kind. Wild needs both. (pristine argunite (23/50 so far).

Wild has tried to get the Mac-aree area to open up but it stubbornly remains nearly vacant. Perhaps there is a forcing function that must be met before the zone opens up. Doing the same meager quests and killing the same elites every day is boring boring boring. There is this tiny voice in Wild's head that whispers that the problem comes from the failure to engage the dungeons. Hope not.

Wild was in a group for a little while. There was just the two of us running around with a bunch of mobs that had this nasty habit of getting knocked back. The guy, or girl, whichever, was having trouble with some of the tougher mobs. Wild already had his eye on an elite he wanted dead, so Wild okayed a request to group. Wild helped clear some mobs and then waded in to kill the elite. Wild got a thank-you and then had to go.

Chaitee pleaded this morning to find a way to farm shal'dorie silk. There are three locations where word has it that the silk can be farmed with modest success. (1) The obvious spot is along the coastline in Aszuna. This is the most used route and there may be several farmers. In an hour of farming Wild only got about 90 mats, just enough to make one bag. (2) At Snowblind Mesa in Highmountain there is a battlefield that never ends. There are three types of mobs there. One group drops silk. But mixed into the conflict are mobs that throw rocks that do heavy damage and also mobs that group up and launch massess of arrows. Wild died twice trying to farm those and frankly, it's not worth it.

The third option is in the Runewood outside Greywatch in Stormheim. The mobs there spam continuously and are easy to kill. They all drop gobs of junk and small amounts of silk. An hour of farming those mobs brought Wild 151 silk. Easy and boring. Wild still wonders if it's worth the effort. Three hours of farming would get Wild enough silk to make maybe four bags. But that's as good as it gets without cheating.

PS - Wild added another notch in his gear, raising it 1 point from i878 to i879. More importantly is that Wild now has 569 argunite. He needs 81 more to reach 650, which will buy an i900 piece of gear.

PS Again - Wild got his 650 argunite and used it to upgrade his i880 trinket to i910. Wild's overall gear score is now i883. Sista may have to wait for Wild a lot longer than expected before getting back into the battle.

A Three Pronged Attack

A Three Pronged Attack

Prong #1 is still Wildshard's plan to earn the Underlight Angler. He fished up several hundred fish in the Val' shara zone and had three chances at one of the rare fish - the Ancient Mossgill. This fish will not appear until he fishes up a rare fishbone. Then, the fishbone must be thrown back into the water. Then fish for two minutes. If you don't catch a fish? Then start over and try again from the beginning. Each type of fish has it's own peculiarities.

Prong #2 is to continue improving his gear and skills. Wild took his latest step by taking the portal to Antorus of Argus. Wild was quite pleased that he has been acquitting himself well. Less pleased is that, so far, Antorus has not resulted in better gear. Wild even participated in an invasion point, killed uncountable demons and creatures, and survived to finish and close the invasion. But still got little to show for it. Somewhere in the small print I think it says Wild has to complete a minimum of three invasions to get any booty. Wild now has two invasions under his belt and is itching to get that third. Wild's gear level inched up to i878.

Prong #3 is to find a way to get Chaitee's business back into focus. The flood of goods at prices Chaitee cannot survive on has continued unabated. Her optimism that the guild would soon see that million gold target is simply not possible at this juncture.
Most depressing is that the mailbox has always held the full fifty items sold plus a large overflow that always kept the coffers ready. Chaitee has to report that not only has the sold items shrunk below the overflow line, Chaitee has glumly watched as the products in the mailbox fall to a record 19 items left.

It's not a matter of refilling the goods. Market prices are losing prices for Chaitee. The market keeps throwing embersilk out there, at 600g yesterday and over 800g at the start of the morning.  But the better silkweave bags sell for a mere 550g. Under 550g and Chaitee can't pay the cost to farm the mats to make them. Chaitee hasn't given up. She managed to push silkweave bags up to 697g, and slammed the embersilk bags, pushing the price up to 898g. Chaitee hopes this will send silkweave prices up to get the additional profit from the embersilk. It's a guessing game. The real game comes with the weekend. That's when Chaitee will know if she guessed correctly.

Today, Chaitee is focused on frostweave bags. She expects to craft at least two dozen or more if possible. Come the weekend those prices should rise. Wild, Sista, and Atkar all must make runs for the mats.
