Invasion Onslaught

Wildshard knew he faced a long dry spell. He had his choice to hang up his gear for a few weeks . . . or, he could say the hell with that! For the first time Wild took part in an Invasion Onslaught. Wild has gone into those portals a few of times, but it was always devoid of anyone other than the elites hanging around hoping Wild might accidentally trip something that would get him killed. But nothing ever came of it.

This time there was a raid forming. And this time Wild got an invitation. What a rush it was to see that a tank was needed and Wild was that tank! Of course there were many others in the raid, and other tanks, too. For once Wild wished he could see the damage he was doing to the super elite target. He must have done okay. Wild never had to back out of the fight, and only twice did trouble find him. Wild thanked the unknown healer who twice got Wild out of trouble.
    Wild never died and saw the fight to the finish.

Now, I have to say that the reward for that success was a little underwhelming. His "reward" is to go out and complete three Invasion Points. More grinding. No matter, Wild can take his break knowing he will be rested and ready when it is time to head back into the action.
