Another Slow Day

Another Slow Day - Umm, Not Really

It is Bastion of Twilight and Naxramas week again. This might be the last time Sista runs BoT. She gathered only 22 hypnotic dust, which barely pays for one embersilk bag. She is better off taking the embersilk and disenchanting deathsilk bracers for the dust. And she doesn't need the embersilk in BoT, either. She has an endless supply available 24-7 from the Maw of Madness. Selling the pyrite from BoT has been profitable, but others are catching on and there are fewer sales.

Naxramas is still valuable for the frostweave and infinite dust from the disenchanting. Sista has looked into other sources for the infinite dust, since she can only farm Naxramas once a week, but she hasn't found a source that was worth the effort.

Chaitee is again getting monopoly control over bag prices. She got a windfall from one of her competitors that should have known better. The seller posted 15 Silkweave bags at 350 gold, probably expecting to sell them fast. They did go fast. Chaitee bought all of them. There is a shortage of silkweave and she just as quickly began posting them at 740g each. Chaitee is the only seller with enough embersilk to keep making those bags, so Chaitee is parsing them out at  100 gold higher than their usual price. All that price pushing has caused the cheap frostweave bags (usually 250g) to bump up to 300g each. She's making money in waves. Even leylights are selling again at good prices, although Chaitee may hold some back, figuring this weekend may be a good one to push prices even higher.

Keya is making a huge push to gather the ever growing need for AP. This despite her concern that there is a glitch with the "Menace on the Broken Shore" quest. There is an exclamation point on that class hall mission that I think shows there is a problem of some sort. The prre-quest,  "Investigate the Broken Shore" shows as "mission completed" but the quest is open.

So Keya picked up a quest in Deliverance, called "High Lord's Return." It's a follow up to the opening of the portal on Outland. Keya was asked to return to the portal and fight the elite there. She thought about it, wondering if she should do a little more gathering of facts, first. Well, nothing has stopped her yet, so she took the quest. Gulp. The High Lord (forget the name) wasn't just an elite. She found herself against an elite that needs to have ready at least a full group. It may even be a raid. Not sure, but she was the only person standing against it. What Keya was sure about is that she landed four blows and then was summarily beaten into atoms. Wow, that was bad.
