Family Feud

Family Feud

Keya, Sista, Rakta, and even Java are arguing over who and how long they can work on their own business. At the beginning of Legion, the focus was on the new demon hunter, Keya. She is well established. She has a regular pattern of work that she can handle mostly on her own, but it requires her to be active in the Broken Shore.

Rakta got special status until she completed her JC work on lockpicking, and that got her to Level 110. But Rakta can't pick locks without resources and she is getting no time to progress into higher levels of talent. She isn't getting anything done sitting at Skyhold. Back in Dalaran, she has designed four keys and she intends to open two lockboxes as a test to see what is in them.
So, her first i425 lockpick produced 33g and i306 Haldarr Boots which can be DEed most likely into infinite dust. Hmm, this might even be useful. She tried a second one: 29g and i306 Haldarr Bindings.Okay, Rakta learned something. She has two keys left, and now needs mats to make more. There are a lot of unopened lockboxes in the guild bank.

Level 104 Java just wants to collect her rocks and flowers. Well, not exactly. She was quick to mention that as she gains experience she would collect larger quantities of the rocks and flowers that are needed. Hint hint - Java wants leveling time.

Sista has been a workhorse for the family, but the focus on gold and mats has done terrible damage to Sista's progression as a Druid. She's level 110, but she doesn't know where to start finding all the broken quest strings that she should have already completed. It may not even be recoverable.

Wildshard feels Sista's pain. Wild, at level 100, has yet to take the path into Legion. He might be of some help where horde and alliance paths are the same, but there will be significant differences. Wild and Sista would like to take those parallel roads with the hope that Sista could correct the mistakes and straighten herself out. Of course, that can't be done without Wild earning experience to level 110 and that is a very large chunk of time.

Cagey Java offered her opinion. Rocks are always in demand, she noted. Picking lock boxes could be a gold maker - if the mats were there to make the keys. That makes Java and Rakta allies, at least to Java. And blacksmith Tiphaine is going to need rocks when she starts her own journey through Legion.

"Seems to me," Java said matter of factly, "the simplest decision would be to get me to level 110 as soon as possible. I'm almost halfway there already."

Rakta looked a bit lost. Somehow her jewelcrafting skill didn't seem so urgent to the others. She is already level 110, and Java had already offered to provide the materials needed. Rakta was furious, but bit back her complaints until Tiphaine had her say.

No one forgets that Tiphaine is guild leader. She's shown amazing patience, waiting at level 101 while others gained experience, and she has always been a very deadly death knight. For now, however, no decision has been reached.
