The Great Slow Down

The Great Slow Down

Prodded by the family, JB and Philly recently completed the effort to reach the outpost of Vol'Mar in the Tanaan jungle. Once accomplished, however, there seems to be little incentive to take things any further. In fact, most of the family seems to be on vacation. Happy's door to the Auction House is still active, but even he notices a slowdown on the market floor.

This may be just a lull, but there is a growing presence that is taking the wind out of what's left of the Draenor expansion: LEGION. Why should anyone continue to farm goods when much of it will become useless within the coming six months? Happy grouses that mat prices are high, but few are paying the extra cost to purchase the goods made from those mats. High level enchants have lost more than half their value. Right now Happy is staying afloat by dealing with weapon upgrades, but the family can only craft a limited amount due to hard limits on the amount that can be produced per day. This despite that there are two blacksmiths, two scribes, a leatherworker, an enchanter, a tailor, an alchemist, a jewelcrafter, and eleven secondary buildings all churning out materials and goods.

The time required to fully utilize all these resources takes up more than an hour a day, time that, frankly, I'm not keeping up with. Why? BORING. It feels more like work than fun right now.

And it's raining. Just thought I'd throw that in to see if anyone is paying attention.
