Chaitee plowed into Val'sharah on this crisp Sunday morning and quickly worked through the throng of nasties in the Lunarwing Shallows. She bounced into combat and came out as a Level 104 with a gear score of i722. She quickly pushed onward, already on the march for the next goal. She is currently 10% of the way to level 105.

She took on Black Rock Hold - the leveling version, not the dungeon. Upon her return to the Lodge Chaitee noted that she was 74% toward level 105.

Java is still struggling, but she has maintained a positive outlook. While her auction house is providing some gold, she might as well give up on bags, Chaitee's staple. It appears that at least two sellers have decided to sell silkweave satchels at 500g apiece, and have flooded the market with them. Which means that embersilk bags are worthless and there is no profit for the silkweave, either, not at 500g. The backlash has effected frostweave as well. Not a single sale in two days.

Java is making do selling enchants, leather barding, stormscale, stonehide leather, leyblood and other small market items, but it's really small potatoes . . .  hmmm, potatoes, anyone? Java can get you a deal. Speaking of deals, Java discovered the value of fatty bear steak, selling 200 for 1,800 gold! The steaks are pretty good, too, when cooked rare.

Chaitee returned to Stormwind as a Level 105. Says hi to Java and tries to buy some gear. She found only one piece, an i735 to replace an i725. Well, at least she gave Java some business.

Java, meanwhile, made a small inroad on the silkweave front, managing to push the price of silkweave bags off of the 500g level and raised it to 691g. The war of bag prices are far from over, though.

Chaitee came back later and found two more pieces of gear to replace, raising her gear score to i741,  and pushing her leveling to the new height of Level 106, battling flowers at the Garden of the Moon. Java didn't seem to mind Chaitee's coming and goings.

However, rumor has it that bets are being taken on whether who, Chaitee or Java, reaches level 108 first. Java has shown no visible concern that she might be left behind in Chaitee's wake, but then Chaitee is not even at level 107. . .  yet, although she is 46% of the way there. As for gear score, Java is i754.
