Chaitee Has the Reins

Chaitee Has the Reins

Chaitee put herself in the hands of the Trueshot Lodge. Having switched spec from Beast Mastery to Survival, her relic/traits needed some very minor tweaking (she has almost no AP). Using her Scouting Map, she decided to start her official leveling in Stormheim. At first glance that seemed a terrible decision, given the many changes of elevation in those difficult mountain passes. But thanks to Keya learning Legion Flying, Chaitee could fly wherever she wanted.

She was sailing long with her leveling when she encountered a strange failure in one her most potent spells, called Flanking Strike. The ability refused to work, which was very bad for Chaitee because she happened to be in the middle of the battle with the elite dragon and the waves of bats (yea, I know you remember it, right?). Without that key spell, Chaitee died.

Well . . . .  as one would expect, it was Chaitee's fault. Flanking Strike requires the assistance of her pet, Tazzy. Poor Taz was dead at the time. Without Taz, no spell. Chaitee rectified that quickly and her day - and Taz's - got markedly better.

The clock is still ticking but Chaitee is currently Level 103 (woo hoo!) and 88% of the way to level 104. Things are going so well because Chaitee is bolstered by Halloween candy. Sugar high!!

Java got off to a very rocky start at the Auction House, losing over 3,000 gold. Determined to learn the ropes, she waded into the tangle that had been made by silly buyers and sellers that didn't know what they were doing. [Note from Tiphaine. It is not good business to disparage your customers. Just saying.]

Prices for bags had flipped flopped so fast that Silkweave satchels cost way less that embersilk bags. The foolish seller is either crazy or personally farmed every piece of cloth - it's the only way a profit could be made, and even that would be minor. Java started manipulating bag prices, using Chaitee's method of raising prices on the lower cost bags (frostweave bags). She caught a break when a seller set pricing too low on embersilk bags and Java jumped on them. She then raised that price by 100 gold - and it stuck. By the following morning Java had turned her 3,000 gold loss into a 5,900 gold gain. What was most impressive is that Java made use of a lot of mats that had only small marginal gains, but were in large quantities, which bolstered the overall take.

Eyes are glazing over. Java and Chaitee went off together to talk shop.
