The Tuesday maintenance was only a short rolling restart, but it must have initiated more pre-Cata activity from the already installed Patch 4.0.1. Philly hogged most of the day as she got more and more involved in her glyph making and selling. It's become an obsession with her. Since very little is going on Philly can have as much time as she wants, but she is going to have to give up all that time once things pick up again.
Philly was in the city of Orgrimmar, going back and forth between the Auction House, the bank, and the mailbox. She happened to be at the bank when there was a flash of light and a cracking sound. A demon blinked into existence inside the bank! A hostile demon! One of the city guards quickly attacked and killed it. Philly believes it was a demon displaced and pushed into our realm by the efforts of Deathwing to reach the surface of Azeroth. It could start to get dangerous even inside our own cities.
Melasahnd had a couple of sightings herself while off herb gathering for Philly. It wasn't demons she saw, though, it was stranger than that. Mela was in Swamp of Sorrows, a favorite herb gathering area. Several times while collecting herbs Mela would see what she can only describe as "swamp lights" at some distance from her. A few times she tried to reach the lights, which looked like a scattering of round bluish lights falling from the sky and disappearing when they struck the earth, but they were always gone by the time she got there. Later, when Mela was in the Badlands, she was swept into a dust storm. That by itself wasn't unusual, the dry desert landscape is prone to dust storms. But what she saw was a swirling mound of rock, dust and earth that was being disgorged from beneath the ground. Mela had never seen THAT before.

In raiding news, the "Nooners" group in MM, which is a bunch of alts, mostly, was able to get to the Lich King. Now all three of the ICC10 groups in MM have at least gotten to LK, even though we have no kills, yet. Wild, by the way, has not even seen the Lich King. And he won't Wednesday night, either, as I will be attending a class. This is my last class night, though. I'm still hoping . . .
