Feeling Her Way (Keya) Around the Isles

Feeling Her Way (Keya) Around the Isles

Keya likes the val'sharah area and pretty much cleaned up the quests. She also did some adventuring on her own, locating two small, out of the way flight paths she'll likely be revisiting down the road. One required fighting through a number of enemies to reach the sparse flight path, and the other is on an island surrounded by giant aquatic monsters.

She DINGED! to Level 101. She took a break at Dalaran and made time to get her Legion level leatherworking profession going. Along with leatherworking she learned more about Skinning. Yes, there are actual quests and requirements for skinning now. Keya isn't even halfway through her profession leveling, but she'll get it done eventually. There are some nice gear patterns she'd like to earn. There were no more additions to her weapon artifacts or useful gear drops. She will likely need to move on to another area of the isles when she continues her leveling.

Keya did do some exploring and tried to find a way to get to the northern parts of the island. Apparently the Blizz gods weren't going to allow that. She did cross a lot of terrain, swam rivers, fought a number of different tribes of bad guys, and even fought her way to a wide valley that would take her all the way to  . . . wait, something is happening . . .  Keya is getting sleepy. Poof! Keya wakes up at the wrong end of the valley. She tries it a second time with the same result. She is just not allowed into that part of the island yet.

Well, it was just as well I guess. Keya was interrupted by a demand for her to return to the Fel Hammer ship. She did her glide thing off of Dalaran to the Illidari portal on the floating pad. That took her into the Illidari stronghold. Then she was directed to set up a follower mission - you know the one, the first garrison mission (oops, they're called class hall missions now) that walks you through the process, exactly like the garrisons. Keya was so bored with that she found a clever way to improve it. Instead of running a single follower through the mission, she noticed she had three followers she could use and added them to the mission. Cool! Well, not so much when she realized that the simple mission took only one minute to complete. The three follower mission Keya set up is a three hour mission. Oops. Keya is now stuck until that mission completes. Which is my que to close up shop and go to bed.

Nighty night!
