Today's Progress on Draenor Pathfinder Part 4

Today's Progress on Draenor Pathfinder Part 4

The Daily Assault was Skettis and it was a double. The hardest part of this quest was getting there. Once Jocy found the right flight path, however, it was easy. There is a trick to this quest that greatly speeds up completing it, by using four slaves together instead of one at a time, which is the usual way. Jocy has to kill at least four mobs to collect keys that she uses to open the chains of four slaves, which then fight alongside Jocy. When enough kills are made, everyone has to rush back to the starting area within five minutes and report to the NPC that stands there. Done. Jocy has completed four of the twelve Assaults now.

Gaining rep with Voljin's Headhunters is proving to extremely slow. Only one quest was given which earned Jocy only 500 rep. Jocy needs to find faster ways to gain rep or this will take forever to reach revered.

Jocy stills plays around in the bathtub. She launched three ship battles, including her first battleship.

VIVIANNE Disappears! Jocy was bored and decided to accept a local Garrison quest called Shadowmoon Invasion. Wild used to do these quests, where the Garrison is attacked and the garrison followers et al join in defending it. It's somewhat fun and you get a little gold and resources from it.

When Jocy accepted the quest, the expected invasion rolled in and Jocy had a fine time slaughtering a bunch of mobs, including one elite dragon. The attack came in five phases and, frankly, it starts to get a little boring by the third wave or so.

Eventually everyone got tired and went home. That's when Jocy first noticed that Vivianne wasn't with her anymore. She must have gotten bored even earlier than Jocy and gone back to the barracks. Jocy checked at the barracks. No Vivianne. No Vivianne anywhere in the Garrison. That can't be. There was a few minutes of panic when it appeared that Jocy had lost her bodygaurd somehow.

Then they found her corpse buried under the elite dragon. The good news is that followers have a means of resurrection like players do; it just takes longer. It took almost forty minutes before Vivianne reapeared on the scene, whole, her gear intact (Jocy worried if gear was affected by follower deaths), and ready to take on new challenges.

Now that the garrison was back to its daily business, it was time for more frivilous pursuits. Jocy keeps getting requests regarding her various sets of gear. Her every day armor serves her quite well on the battlefield. However, it does lack flair. In fact, its way too functional and boring.

Fist, who has been a rare presence lately, couldn't help but stick her nose into the conversation. "No one has more sets of clothes than I do," Fist bragged. It's true that Fist has never thrown away a piece of gear, but . . .

"I've seen your bulging wardrobe, Fist," Jocy shot back, "but it's not just clothes that make the smart looking death dealer, it's how well you wear them and how hot the model. Me, of course."

"Hmmpf." Jocy dismissed Fist. "Let's see if you can top this outfit. It's just a quick ensemble for casual shopping. I call it the Spooky Scythe look."

"Bring it on." Fist laughed. "I'll throw something together for comparison tomorrow and let the readers decide.
