Fist's first order of business (after washing the rotten egg smell off of all of her gear) was to make her second trip to Shattrath. This time Fist was welcomed. It took a minute for Wild to recall and pass along to Fist just where the portal back to Org was. It's located in the central hub of the city. Fist had her choice of two Inns, and decided to set her hearth at the Scryer's. Fist can use the Shattrath portal to return to Org, and her hearthstone to return from Org to Shattrath. Most of Fist's time is going to be spent in the Outlands, probably until she reaches at least level 70.
There are eight zones in Outland (counting Shattrath, since there are many quests based there). Fist is finished with Hellfire Peninsula, and has already spent a good part of a day in Zangarmarsh at the three bases of Cenarion Refuge, Swamprat Post, and Zabra'jin. There have been no surprises and no changes to Zangarmarsh that Wild could tell. Fist did have a little bit of excitement when she received a gear quest reward that held two sockets. It was her first socketed gear.
The immediate area around Shattrath is Terokkar Forest. Wild never much liked Terokkar Forest. It was mostly small scale wars against many different humanoid races. I'm sure I'd run across a few quest jewels that I'd forgotten about, but Wild recommended that Fist pass it by, at least for now. On the other hand, Wild loved Nagrand, and that is where Fist headed next. Garadar is the principle horde base in Nagrand. Fist picked up a number of cooking recipes as there were lots of opportunities for both fishermen and hunters who liked to cook.
In the early going, ogres figured prominently, and Fist killed a lot of them. Then there were the murkbloods, and then demons, and then ... well, ok, Nagrand has a lot of humanoid races to commit genocide on as well as Terrokar Forest. Fist depleted Garadar's large stock of quests pretty rapidly, and had just picked up the quest that took her to the hunting camp (her favorite series of quests), when the computer locked up for the second time in thirty minutes. It seemed to be game related, not a computer or internet problem, so Fist was forced to call it a night.
Fist is level 67, about halfway to level 68.
Fist may be in for a much longer period of forced inactivity. The Detroit Tigers have made it to the World Series. The St Louis Cardinals are one game away from making it to the World Series. My uncle lives in Holly Springs MS, a five hour drive from St Louis, and is a huge Cardinals fan. Neither of us have ever been to a World Series game. As a once in a lifetime thing, I got us tickets for first game, to be held in St Louis on 24 Oct - if the Cardinals can win one more game. If they win today, I could be driving to Mississippi as early as Saturday.
PS - After all of the comments attempting to enforce a dress code on Fist, Fist listened - and then doubled down. She gave an impromptu concert atop a wall in the Valley of Honor, showing off her style, and a new outfit.
"What can I say?" Naithipe shrugged, pulled out her two-hander, and encouraged the crowd to be appreciative - and respectful. Fist may have been a little annoyed at having Mom as a chaperone, but she had a good time.
