Shackle's Den Aszuna

Shackle's Den Aszuna

MAJOR UPDATE COMING - Keya has an important announcement. Details to come later today.

Sista has been trying to find a better way to collect shal'dorei cloth to make Silkweave satchels. If one reads the guides, the best place is Snowblind Mesa in Highmountain. However, Sista has been there three times for an hour each and the take was never more then 10-20 pieces of cloth. Which sucks.
When Chaitee starts clamoring for silkweave cloth, Sista heads for the Academy shoreline in Aszuna. There are a lot of murlocs there, all the time. Sista can't kill things as fast as Keya can so the killing and retrieving takes longer. She's also slow moving in her bear form. Her best effort so far has been 80 silk over an hour of farming. Since it takes 90 silk to make one bag, that is a lot of farming.
Shackles Den, also in Aszuna, is near an area of pirates. That was suggested as an easier alternative. The pirates die faster, but they are more spread out, and it's possible to clean them out so she has to wait a bit for them to respawn. Sista was already tired from the murloc farming, but even so she managed to get 47 cloth in under an hour killing pirates.
Sista considered taking feral as her secondary spec, but that's been tried by Wildshard back in the day and it wasn't pretty. Feral is just not a spec she can make work for her.
Sista also considered taking Balance as her secondary spec. In his day Wildshard actually leveled in Balance spec, cloth armor and all. It worked for him, but it was always secondary to Wild's healing spec, which is useless for what Sista needs now. Sista is wedded to her tanking gear now.
Sista asked Keya one time if she would blaze though the murloc run and see how long it took and how much cloth she got. It would make an interesting comparison. However, as a leather worker, Keya would get little or no cloth at all. Sorry Sista, that just won't work.
Farming embersilk and frostweave is a whole lot easier and faster.

Keep it Quiet

Keep it quiet, but Chaitee has a secret. So far  no one seems to know about it, since Chaitee does all the handling of goods and gold for the guild. Recently, some items that Chaitee set aside never made it to the AH. There was also a number of pieces of gear piled in a unused closet. Tiphaine made some mention of clogging up the guild bank with junk, little of it useful. Or so it seems. Dull Rakta, with little to do but snoop, caught Chaitee seperating pieces of gear. Rakta pushed the issue, demanding where the gear was going. Chaitee gave Rakta her sweetest, deadliest smile and mentioned that if she ever wanted gold or materials for opening lockboxes she should just mind her own business. Rakta hastily backed off.

Rakta wasn't done snooping, though. She gave bored Pulsefyre a skeleton key, and with a little magic from the warlock, they opened one of the storage closets. All that was in the closet were more gear, useless junk that no one in the family could want. Rakta stomped off, grumbling to herself. Pulsefyre stuck around, looking over the gear and puzzling over what made this junk different from the other junk. She tapped her young magic, using Haunt to see what Chaitee was up to. Then it came to her. All of the gear was of the same type. It was all i780 gear, mail gear specifically, along with trinkets and rings. Who would use such stuff? Like Rakta, Pulsefyre could find no reason, either. There was work to be done. Later in the afternoon the unusual pile of gear simply disappeared.
